Our heavy-duty Galvalume steel shell (up to 1.5mm thick) is more than three times thicker than steel sheeting (0.39mm) used in other building kits. On the drilling site, the thicker steel walls are more capable of withstanding impacts from machinery or weather and the galvalume coating provides extra heat reflectivity during the warmest months.
In addition, our unique military-grade design more evenly distributes weight across the entire building kit. As a result, our buildings don't require deep posts or expensive foundations. Bedford building kits sit securely on a simple floating foundation (41cm deep), allowing them to be constructed on almost any type of ground and eliminating the need for expensive soil testing.
